Fritz Aquatics pH Higher solution decreases acidity, increases alkalinity, and improves biological filter efficiency. Although frequently overlooked, the pH of an aquarium is very important. When correctly balanced, the health of your aquarium livestock remains more stable. Furthermore, the biological filter remains more efficient and requires less maintenance. This concentrated, safe, and easy to use formula allows you to raise the pH levels in your aquarium water to the desired levels.

Dosage:

Test the pH levels prior to dosing

To raise pH, instill 5 mL (1 cap/ 1 tsp) per 20 US Gallons (76 L) of water

Depending on the initial acidity of aquarium water, multiple doses may be necessary

Wait about 10 minutes, and then re-check pH levels before adding additional doses

If fish are present, limit pH change to 0.2 per day

If high levels of ammonia have accumulated due to low pH, increase pH slowly to prevent high levels of toxic ammonia
